Lipelis
Leonid Lipelis was born in Penza and began his musical career in the early 2000s. He started by playing at school discos and in local clubs. He soon moved to Moscow, where he quickly became a part of the music scene.

He got involved in electronic music at the dawn of electroclash and was most inspired by the sound of Tiga, gradually discovering other variations of the acid genre.
A loud musical statement was Leonid's release "weirdshit" on the American record label L.I.E.S. in 2015. The track sprang all over the world, and the playful and funk-influenced sound began to be attributed directly to the artist. Many elements of disco, electro, and house are present in his tracks, in varying proportions. The common ground is always light, with a sense of ease. Lipelis' music has a relaxed atmosphere that you immerse yourself into, be it just listening to his records or witnessing his notable performances on the dance floor.
The artist considers his set at Lente Kabinet in the Netherlands (a subsidiary festival of Dekmantel) to be the most iconic. His tracks were released on Hamburg's Teardrop, Australian's Animal Dancing, Munich's Public Possession, and other labels. Having gained experience working with international professionals, he opened his own vinyl imprint Low Budget Family.
In 2020, Leonid Lipelis was invited to join the organizational team of System 108. In his new role, he often supervises dance floors and is involved in booking line-ups.

According to the musician, during his sets, he deliberately breaks genre boundaries to surprise the public and himself.
