Philipp Gorbachev
Philipp Gorbachev is one of Moscow's most celebrated dance music artists, resident of the new superclub Mutabor, and member of Arma17 and System 108 communities.
Moving to Berlin in 2011, Philipp Gorbachev's friendship with Rebolledo and Matias Aguayo set the wheels in motion for a series of debut releases on Cómeme, studio and remix collaborations with Daniel Maloso, Barnt, Danny Daze, Interchain, Inga Mauer, Nina Kraviz, and a live tour that has not stopped since his early Cómeme warehouse gig in Cologne.
Playing a wide range of instruments, Philipp Gorbachev is a flamboyant performer, who holds the mic, tunes, the synth and beats the drums like no one else. Be it as a rave live or DJ act, as a full-band frontman (Philipp Gorbachev & The Naked Man), or as a label curator highlighting new music from Russia via his PG TUNE imprint.
In 2019, Philipp Gorbachev released his third album called 'KOLOKOL' which received reviews as, 'Techno album of the month, [...] mind-bending conceptual LP' (Mixmag UK, October 2019), and 'inspired by the artist's time as bellringer'(Resident Advisor). An accompanying A/V-live show has been presented at Moscow's new superclub Mutabor in May and October 2019.
